Since 1990, the world's organic industry has come together each year to showcase, innovate and grow. Organizers expect 2,700 exhibitors from more than 100 countries to participate. The theme chosen for this edition is about consumer communication: the spread and appreciation towards organic products has been growing for years in all markets around the world because those who buy organic are looking for sustainability and wholesomeness. Ambitious and important demands that consumers want to be informed, updated and reassured about.
ORGANIC AND GLUTEN FREE
“This year's novelty,“ explains Giuseppe Ciani, director of Molino Sima, ‘is represented by the Le Centenarie line, through which we propose ’multipurpose” soft wheat flours for bread-making, pasta-making and pastry-making, spelt, Kamut® Khorasan and gluten-free flours that we already process for large industrial groups and for the private label of large-scale retail trade, both in Italy and abroad. Molino Sima is the largest Italian mill specializing in the processing of organic flours: “for 2023,” Ciani continues, “we expect a confirmation of the production of more than 35,000 tons of flours, for a turnover of about 28 million euros.
